Train Ride
Last Saturday we rode the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad with my dear old friends Mike and Elizabeth and their daughter Nancy Carol. Once Violet and Nancy Carol got over being spooked by the whistle, they seemed to enjoy the ride. It was about a million degrees hot (or at least that's how it felt) but we had a nice day reliving our child-free days as the King Street Wine and Cheese Society and experiencing our new, different, but also completely wonderful days as parents of toddlers on an adventure.
