Christmas Parade

I hadn't planned on going since it started at 6 and Violet is usually in bed by 6:30, but after talking to my friend Kristi and after the third student came knocking at my door asking if we were going, I bundled Violet up and we headed out. She took the whole thing in the way she takes everything in - very seriously. No crying, no smiling - just wide eyes and the occasional baby talk. I think she liked it, though, and I'm hoping the cold air made her tired (it's been a rough few nights here.)
